Mesic expressed satisfaction with good cooperation between Albania and Croatia at all levels, given the two countries' common strategic objectives -- membership of NATO and the European Union. He added that in that context cooperation between the three countries signatories to the US-Adriatic Charter and the departure of a joint Albanian- Macedonian-Croatian medical team to Kabul, scheduled for this July, were very important.
General Quazimi expressed satisfaction with cooperation with the Croatian Armed Forces and stressed he believed that the two countries would continue to develop friendly relations, the statement said.
The Albanian Army Chief of Staff also held talks with Croatian Defence Ministry State Secretary Mate Raboteg and Croatian Army Chief of Staff Josip Lucic. The talks focused on bilateral military cooperation, reform processes and preparations for the departure of the joint medical team to the ISAF Mission in Afghanistan.
