ZAGREB, May 17 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic said on
Tuesday evening at a book launch in Zagreb's Mimara Museum that regardless of
warnings that he was interfering with things he did not understand, he would
continue to talk. "I will continue to talk because I was elected to
be competent," Mesic said.
Mesic said that Croatia was lacking considerations about strategic
development. "We lack a national consensus about where are we going," he
said.
"Let us be optimistic, even though there are not very many reasons for
that," Mesic told the present at the launch of a book by Adolf Dragicevic.
