ZAGREB, May 9 (Hina) - By expanding the circle of participants in
a criminal enterprise in the indictment against generals Ivan Markac and Mladen
Cermak to all Croatian political and military officials involved in the 1995
Operation Storm, the UN war crimes tribunal's Prosecution has in fact shown
that it has no real evidence to back its accusations, Cermak's attorney
Jadranka Slokovic said on Monday evening. "They went too far. They
included everybody who was involved in political or military issues in Storm
Operation," Slokovic said in a telephone interview.
"This is the recipe which the Prosecution has already used against six
Bosnian Croats in the "Prlic and the Others" case. They include all
participants and in fact they don't identify anybody, Slokovic said.
"We will see the reaction of the tribunal to such a description of the
criminal enterprise and this, and will influence our case," the attorney
said,
"If this is how the things are shown, then we are all in a criminal
enterprise," said the attorney which defends Cermak together with attorney Cedo
Prodanovic,
