SPLIT, April 30 (Hina) - Utility workers on Saturday removed
posters of Ante Gotovina, the runaway general wanted by the Hague war crimes
tribunal, from two locations in the southern coastal city of Split.
The posters were removed following a decision reached by the city authorities
at yesterday's session.
There were no incidents during the removal.
The Croatian Pure Party of Rights (HCSP) had put one poster on its
building, whose front is part of the historic Diocletian's Palace, in
mid-March.
The other poster had been placed in the Mejasi neighbourhood by a group
of citizens in early February.
