Chief State Prosecutor Mladen Bajic told reporters that last year, the DORH reached European standards according to statistical indicators of its work.
Last year, 97 new cases were sent to state prosecutors' offices, which was by two percent more than in 2003. Nearly a half of them referred to unknown perpetrators.
Regarding cases with perpetrators whose identity was known, the DORH solved all but 469, which is less than the influx of new cases in three days.
Bajic said that the DORH had prepared a data base for all cases on which it worked more than six months.
