"Please contact the campaign's head, Macek, as I did not deal with the financial aspect of the campaign, nor was I involved in agreements with any television network or press publisher regarding my promotion," Kosor told reporters in Zagreb on Wednesday after she attended the launching of a textbook for learning Croatian sign language.
Asked by reporters to comment on the differences in the presentation of the costs of her TV spots broadcast by the national Croatian Television (HTV) between figures released by her Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and the TIH, Kosor said that she did not know what he was talking about.
She again referred reporters to Macek.
"I made no statement about any expenses, as that was not my job. I did not deal with it at any moment, as I had to do a billion other things (as a presidential candidate)," Kosor said.
Kosor spent the most for her campaign on Croatian Radio and Television (HRT), followed by the winner, President Stjepan Mesic, according to HRT figures TIH published on Tuesday.
Kosor spent 2.9 million kuna for promotion on HRT in both rounds of the polls, while Mesic spent 1.45 million, TIH president Zorislav Petrovic told the press yesterday.
According to figures the candidates submitted to the State Election Commission, Mesic spent the most on his campaign, about 6.5 million kuna. Kosor reported her costs at 6.45 million.
