ZAGREB, April 17 (Hina) - The Democratic Centre (DC) party will runindependently in six counties in the upcoming local elections, and in13 other counties and the City of Zagreb it will form coalitions withother parties, the head of
the party's election headquarters, JoskoMoric, said at a session of the DC Main Committee
ZAGREB, April 17 (Hina) - The Democratic Centre (DC) party will
run independently in six counties in the upcoming local elections, and in 13
other counties and the City of Zagreb it will form coalitions with other
parties, the head of the party's election headquarters, Josko Moric, said at a
session of the DC Main Committeeon Sunday.
The DC will run independently in the elections in Vukovar, Zagreb,
Zadar, Krapina, Medjimurje and Virovitica counties.
The party will head coalitions in three counties, it will not run in
Istria County, and in eight counties and the City of Zagreb it will form
coalitions with the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), Moric said.
He added that decisions on coalitions on the local level would be made
by party branches on the ground, but that local lists of candidates would be
approved by the party's presidency and county branches.
