Trade Union (HLS), Ivica Babic, said on Wednesday afternoon that the three-day
strike of doctors in state-run hospitals had been discontinued.
Following a ruling by the Zagreb County Court which today imposed ban on the
strike until the completion of appeals proceedings, the HLS held an urgent
session and adopted a unanimous decision to discontinue the general strike,
Babic told a news conference.
He added that the union would appeal against the court's ruling.
