According to a press release issued by the Croatian parliament's public relations office, Semneby commended Croatia for great progress it had made in a relatively short period of time and added that now the country was at the threshold of the European Union.
Semneby said that Croatia had to continue with activities in some areas such as the representation of ethnic minorities in state administration bodies, electoral legislation reform and the strengthening of the institution of ombudsman.
Seks agreed with Semneby that it was necessary to continue with reforms, and expressed hope that Croatia's dialogue with the new OSCE mission chief would be as successful as it had been with Semneby.
The outgoing Bosnian Ambassador Dizdarevic said that it was in the interest of his country to see Croatia's speedy entry into the European Union, and pointed out the importance of the individual approach.
Seks thanked Dizdarevic for all he had done in efforts to improve bilateral relations.
