"Belgrade is now isolated from both Washington and Brussels. Belgrade is the meeting place of war criminals and has played the decisive role in the sending of ex-Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj to The Hague (war crimes tribunal)," Thaqi said on Thursday, adding that Kosovo's government and parliament should take a position on Kosumi's wish to go to Belgrade.
Thaqi said no talks on technical issues could be held with Belgrade because all issues were of a political nature.
He added a political platform should be prepared for the talks with Belgrade and that its creation should engage all political subjects in the UN-administered province. He said the final document should be approved by the Kosovo parliament.
