MARIJA BISTRICA, Sept 10 (Hina) - The archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal Josip Bozanic, celebrated mass in Marija Bistrica on Sunday on the occasion of the 275th pilgrimage of the City of Zagreb to Croatia's largest Marian shrine.

Cardinal Josip Bozanic, celebrated mass in Marija Bistrica on Sunday on the
occasion of the 275th pilgrimage of the City of Zagreb to Croatia's largest
Marian shrine. In attendance were bishops and about 100 members of
the clergy, and more than 50,000 faithful, including Prime Minister Ivo
Sanader, Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic and Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic.
In his sermon, Cardinal Bozanic spoke against working on Sundays, among
other things, and called on all those gathered to pray for peace in Lebanon
and the Middle East.
