"Croatian legislation relating to this chapter has been largely adjusted to the acquis communautaire. We explained to the European Commission officials how we plan to adjust the remaining part and within what time-frames, which was warmly welcomed," said Sinisa Petrovic, chief negotiator for this chapter.
Petrovic specified that Croatia would complete the adjustment of its laws relating to this chapter in the first quarter of 2008.
The chapter consists of three parts: company law, accounting and auditing.
