ZAGREB, July 5 (Hina) - Two Croatian police officers on Wednesday morning left Zagreb for Pristina where they will participate in the UN Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) in the next 12 months.

A police official in the Interior Ministry's peace missions department, Marijana Patrlj-Popovic and a police officer of the Virovitica County Police Department, Andrej Hegedis, will be deployed in Kosovo after they passed training for this mission. First two Croatian policemen went to Kosovo in May last year.

The Croatian police are already participating in the UN civil missions in East Timor and Cyprus and in the NATO-led peace mission in Afghanistan.
