In an open letter to the international community's representative in the country, Jovic said that he was worried about information about attacks on Croat residents of Tuzla by local Bosniaks.
"The systematic maltreatment of Croats, as far as I am told, has lasted for years, and it is being downplayed and depicted as minor, unimportant incidents in 'a harmonious living environment', even when it comes to crimes such as murder," read the letter.
Jovic said that he was puzzled by the passivity of international representatives who were failing to respond to such occurrences, which he said was not the case when members of other ethnic groups were targeted.
He added that he was particularly worried about recent attacks on local Catholic priests and church facilities.
