ZAGREB, June 23 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, accompanied by delegations of the government and the parliament, on Friday laid wreaths and lit candles in the Soldiers Alley at Zagreb's
Mirogoj cemetery and the Homeland Altar on Mt. Medvednica overlooking the city on the occasion of Statehood Day, June 25.
ZAGREB, June 23 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic and
Prime Minister Ivo Sanader, accompanied by delegations of the government and
the parliament, on Friday laid wreaths and lit candles in the Soldiers Alley at
Zagreb's Mirogoj cemetery and the Homeland Altar on Mt. Medvednica overlooking
the city on the occasion of Statehood Day, June 25. PM Sanader and
the parliamentary delegation also laid wreaths at the grave of the first
Croatian president Franjo Tudjman.
Delegations of the parliament, the defence ministry and the city
government laid wreaths at the grave of unidentified Homeland War victims at
Mirogoj.
