The two officials also agreed to continue cooperation in co-funding local government projects using EU pre-accession funds, the Finance Ministry said in a statement.
In his address to the meeting, Suker presented the achievements of structural reforms being undertaken by the Croatian government, welcoming the EBRD's active role in financing the private sector in Croatia.
Croatia became a member of the EBRD in April 1993. Since then the EBRD has invested in Croatia a total of 1.6 billion euros in 60 projects whose overall value exceeds four billion US dollars. Over 60 per cent of the EBRD's portfolio has been invested in the private sector.
Croatia has signed with the EBRD three public loans, which are being repaid, and 12 projects backed by government guarantees.
