COPENHAGEN, March 7 (Hina) - By reforming its economy and
implementing projects such as HITRO-HR and E-Croatia, the Croatia is trying to
change its image and become even more competitive and more a interesting
destination for foreign investors who had already invested over USD11 billion
in the country, the director of the Agency for the Promotion of Investment and
Export, Zeljko Kirincic, said at a seminar in Copenhagen Tuesday,
The seminar, which discussed possibilities of investing in Croatia, was
organised by the Croatian Embassy in Denmark, the Agency for the Promotion of
Investment and Export and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA)
from Vienna.
Croatian Ambassador to Denmark Aleksandar Heina said that by drawing
closer to the European Union and NATO Croatia had shown it was a politically
and economically stable country and a regional leader.
Croatia and Denmark had a good political cooperation but the two
countries' business activities needed to be intensified, it was said at a
meeting.
