Klovicevi Dvori Gallery on Friday evening.
ZAGREB, March 3 (Hina) - The exhibition "Van Gogh, Mondrian and
the Hague School of Painters", featuring 83 works by Dutch painters who marked
a turning point in art in the second half of the 19th century, opened in
Zagreb's Klovicevi Dvori Gallery on Friday evening. On display are
works by Vincent van Gogh, Piet Mondrian, Jozef Israels, Anton Mauve, Willem
Roelofs, Jacob Maris, Matthijs Maris, Philip Sadee and Paul Gabriel.
The event was opened by the Croatian Minister of Culture Bozo Biskupic,
and in attendance, among others, were the Dutch Ambassador to Croatia, Lionel
Veer, and the Mayor of Zagreb, Milan Bandic.
The exhibition closes on 4 June.
