The event, which began in Sarajevo on Wednesday, was organised by the Regional Co-operation Council (RCC) and the Security Ministry of Bosnia and Herzegovina, under the sponsorship of the governments of Austria, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The workshop brought together some hundred police and security officers from countries in the region and international organisations.
At the start of the workshop, RCC Secretary-General Hido Biscevic recalled that at a meeting in Istanbul this June, countries-members of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) had defined a strategy for the fight against organised crime, including the fight against terrorism.
