ZAGREB, Feb 21 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Tuesdayreceived the outgoing Japanese Ambassador Kaname Ikeda, and presentedhim with the high Croatian medal "the Order of Prince Branimir withthe Collar", the Croatian
President's Office stated in a pressrelease.
ZAGREB, Feb 21 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on
Tuesday received the outgoing Japanese Ambassador Kaname Ikeda, and presented
him with the high Croatian medal "the Order of Prince Branimir with the
Collar", the Croatian President's Office stated in a press release.
Mesic thanked Ambassador Ikeda for his contribution to the development of
friendly relations between Japan and Croatia, and wished him a success in his
further career.
The Japanese diplomat said that he would keep happy memories of his
stay in Croatia, and expressed conviction that the new Japanese ambassador
would continue working on the strengthening of bilateral ties.
