Director Dubravko Tkalcic on Monday presented the business results of the company which has a mixed ownership and a predominantly government capital.

Today's news conference was held ahead of a ceremony at which JANAF was awarded certifications ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999 for its management of quality, environment protection and health protection in accordance with international standards.

Tkalcic said that JANAF was planning to produce 7.5 million tonnes of oil this year, with an increase to 10 million tonnes annually in coming years.

JANAF will transport oil to two Croatian oil refineries, two refineries in Serbia as well as to MOL refineries in Hungary and Slovakia.

The director announced that a five-year business plan for JANAF would soon be presented. The objectives of the plan are to upgrade the company's system and develop business storage of oil.

This year, JANAF is going to invest around 204 million kuna into its modernisation, and 100 million kuna over each of the next three years.
