Habau-Ghizzoni is the contractor also on the pipeline's first section, Bateli-Marcelji, where works began on January 18. The 190 km pipeline is divided in four sections.
The contract for the third section, Marcelji-Delnice, is worth 93 million kuna and construction will start on February 15. The deadline is six months.
The contract is based on a fixed price, which covers all construction works, purchase of equipment as well as the launching of the section, Plinacro said.
Construction on the fourth, 76.8 km section from Delnice to Draganic and on the first one is expected to start by March 1 at the latest.
The Pula-Karlovac pipeline will provide, among other things, a new gas import route.
This EUR90 million pipeline is the most demanding and expensive unit being built in the first stage of the construction of a national gas supply system.
