The conference, being held until 28 August as part of the 9th edition of an international school on Sipan, was organised by the Atlantic Council of Croatia and the Konrad Adenauer, Hanns Seidel and Eduardo Frei foundations.
The event brought together about 30 participants from southeast European countries.
The international school on Sipan, an island off Dubrovnik, began in 2002. It aims to strength good-neighbourly relations in the region, creating a network of young leaders, and promoting Euro-Atlantism.
