ZAGREB, June 2(Hina) - Croatian Parliament Speaker Vladimir Seks will visit Poland on June 4-6 for talks on bilateral relations and Croatia's Euro-Atlantic integration, the Sabor said in a statement.

Seks is visiting Poland at the invitation of the speaker of the Polish parliament's lower house, Ludwik Dorn, whom he will meet on Tuesday, when he is also to be received by Polish President Lech Kaczynski as well as hold talks with Foreign Minister Anna Fotyga.

On Wednesday, Seks will hold talks with the vice president of the Senate and is expected to be received by Cardinal Jozef Glemp.

The talks will also address ways of intensifying economic cooperation. Croatia-Poland trade in 2006 went up 33% from 2005, amounting to US$513 million, and the number of Polish tourists vacationing in Croatia also went up.

Croatia and Poland share the fundamental foreign policy guidelines - Euro-Atlantic integration and the nurturing of good neighbourliness and regional cooperation. Poland is a member of the EU and NATO and politically supports Croatia on its road to membership of those two structures, offering exchange of experience and assistance at all levels.
