On that occasion, Kosor wished success to workers of the KIM dairy and to the Dukat group, which owns the Karlovac dairy.
The new plant will process 75 million litres of long-life milk annually and bottle it into High-Density Polyethylene (HDP) bottles.
Dukat manager Zoran Skevin said that KIM would continue running its other plant for long-life milk which produces some 60 million litres of carton milk annually.
In attendance at the inauguration were Italian Agriculture Minister Giancarlo Galan, his Croatian counterpart Petar Cobankovic, and some other ministers from the Kosor cabinet.
