Jakus said that in his experience he would have fared much batter had he deposited the funds which he has so far given in the second pillar as fix-term savings in a bank and obtained interest from the deposit.
The trade unionist described the second pension pillar as "a pure lie and deception" with the imminent failure.
He proposes that mandatory pension funds should be transformed into voluntary.
He also bemoans the government's plan to "penalise" workers, who are giving money in pension funds, for their early retirement.
"Somebody forces you to go to early retirement and you are to be penalised. Why shouldn't we penalise employers who fire older workers," he said.
