ZAGREB, May 23 (Hina) - Slovenia's parliamentary delegation visited the Croatian Parliament on Wednesday and said that during its presidency of the European Union in the first half of 2008, Slovenia would support Croatia on its path
to EU membership, the Croatian Parliament's public relations office said in a statement.

visited the Croatian Parliament on Wednesday and said that during its
presidency of the European Union in the first half of 2008, Slovenia would
support Croatia on its path to EU membership, the Croatian Parliament's public
relations office said in a statement. During talks with the chairman
of the Croatian parliamentary committee on foreign affairs Gordan Jandrokovic,
the delegation of the Slovene parliamentary committee on European affairs
presented the main guidelines of the Slovene presidency of the European Union.
Both parties agreed that European prospects for Southeast European countries
meant the stability of the entire region.
The central topic of the talks were bilateral relations. The two sides
agreed that there were still several outstanding issues and proposed that the
two countries' parliamentary representatives invest more efforts into resolving
these issues.
