On that occasion, Josipovic recalled that he had often participated in the IUC work, first while being a student and later as a lecturer.
The president expressed his full support to the IUC, promising that he would lobby for the institution at his international meetings.
Inter-University Centre Dubrovnik, established in 1972 by the then Zagreb University rector, Ivan Supek, is an independent, autonomous academic institution with a mission to promote international co-operation between academic institutions throughout the world.
Currently, this institution has 400 professors and lecturers for 1,800 people enrolled in its 70 courses.
