Seks said that the revised budget would be adopted on Monday, adding that its aim was "to halt the economic crisis."
"The revised budget reflects the social responsibility of the state with the aim of protecting the most vulnerable social groups," he said.
Agriculture Minister Petar Cobankovic said that there were indications that the Gross Domestic Product could rise in the last quarter of 2010, and consequently GDP could increase up to 1.5 percent in 2011.
"All of this would make it possible for the budget deficit to be reduced to bearable proportions," Cobankovic said.
