Autor: mses
ZAGREB/DUBROVNIK, July 10 (Hina) - Croatian and Albanian Prime Ministers, Jadranka Kosor and Sali Berisha, met on the margins of the two-day Croatia Summit in Dubrovnik on Saturday.

On that occasion Berisha invited his Croatian counterpart to pay an official visit to Albania, the Croatian government said in a press release.

Kosor and Berisha described the bilateral relations as excellent and friendly.

Croatia's admission to the European Union is of key importance for the common success, the two officials concluded.

Kosor reaffirmed Croatia's steady support to Albania in its European Union membership bid.

Kosor and Berisha also discussed the joint struggle against natural and technological disasters with the Croatian premier thanking Albania for the support to the establishment of the regional centre for assistance and disaster relief in Divulje outside Split.

The two premiers said that there was room for the improvement of the Croatian-Albanian economic cooperation, notably in construction industry.

Berisha thanked for the invitation to take part in this year's summit in Dubrovnik which he described as an excellent meeting.
