On Friday, the second day of his visit to Kosovo, Blair addressed the Kosovo parliament in Pristina, saying that NATO's intervention against Serb forces in 1999 was a moral act that turned a new page in the history of Kosovo.
The former British PM, who received a honorary doctoral degree from Pristina University, said Kosovo's future lay in the European family, and that Kosovo needed to meet the EU membership requirements and standards.
Later in the day, Blair was expected to visit the predominantly Serb municipality of Gracanica and the cities of Prizren and Pec.
