The new members will sit in the agency after the old ones were dismissed due to the government's dissatisfaction with their work.
The government proposes Danijel Zamboki as the new HERA Steering Council chairman and Tomislav Jurekovic, Igor Sutlovic and Sunja Trakostanec Jokic as the new members.
Their terms will last as long as the remaining part of the terms of the dismissed members.
Two months ago the government initiated a parliamentary procedure to relieve of duty the HERA Steering Council after HERA approved higher heating prices without informing the Economy Ministry and the government about it, publishing its decision on its web site.
The ruling Croatian Democratic Union also accused HERA of being selective in the announcement of its opinion on companies engaged in providing heating.
