ZAGREB, April 24 (Hina) - Officials at the Croatian Foreign
Affairs and European Integration Ministry on Friday handed to
Bosnia-Herzegovina's Ambassador in Zagreb, Vladimir Raspudic, a strong-worded
protest note over the burning of a Croatian flag at a Bosnian premier league
soccer match between Zeljeznicar and Zrinjski in Sarajevo on Wednesday. The Croatian ministry expressed outrage at the incident and called on the
Bosnian authorities to respond to it promptly and carry out an investigation,
the ministry said in a press release.
The Croatian authorities also protested against the planned adoption by
the Bosnian parliament of legislation on the protection of domestic production
within the CEFTA agreement, saying that it would seriously harm economic
relations between the two countries.
