The purpose of the project, funded entirely by the European Union, was to facilitate Croatia's efforts to meet the European Union (EU) pre-accession requirements concerning Chapter 29 of the Acquis communautaire, "with regard to the development and implementation of national systems, required by the Croatian Customs Administration to connect with the EU IT systems to enable the exchange of information between the European Commission (EC) and the Member States immediately upon the accession to the EU.
The twinning partner in the project was Austria's Agency for European Integration and Economic Development.
