SARAJEVO, March 28 (Hina) - Croatia is closely following what is happening in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Jandrokovic said describing the state of affairs in Bosnia as serious.

He said in an interview with the Sarajevo-based Dnevni Avaz daily on Saturday that "Bosnia-Herzegovina is facing a great number of challenges and each of them is serious but none is insolvable."

"There is an evident stalemate in reforms whose successful implementation is crucial for the exit from the current a situation," the Croatian official said.

Croatia, as a signatory to the Dayton peace accords, sincerely wishes that Bosnia-Herzegovina goes out of the ongoing crisis as soon as possible and turns to the future, he said.

"Within European frameworks, Croatia will be engaged in and push for the support to positive processes in Bosnia-Herzegovina," Jandrokovic said.

He added that Croatia just as the entire international community finds the rhetoric of the Bosnian Serb entity's Prime Minister Milorad Dodik unacceptable.

Advocating dialogue within Bosnia for its own problems, Jandrokovic called on Bosnian authorities to meet commitments stemming from the Stabilisation and Association process with the European Union.

Commenting on proposals on the country's internal rearrangement, including the establishment of four territorial units, the minister said that Croatia was in favour of solutions that ensure Croats' equality with the other two constituent peoples (Bosniaks and Serbs).

He said that an insight in all concrete proposals was necessary before making any further comments.

Jandrokovic, however, added that Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina would not have suggested new solutions, if they had been satisfied with the current one.

As regards the Croatian-Bosnian relations, he described them as friendly adding that they sometimes could be more constructive.

Jandrokvic also pushed for the construction of the Peljesac bridge. The Bosnian side has some objections to this project, claiming that the bridge might prevent the access of ships to the Bosnian coastal town of Neum.

When it comes to the southern Croatian seaport of Ploce, Croatia will apply European principles for enabling Bosnia to use that port, which means that the transshipment of goods through that port would be unrestricted, which could be facilitated by the construction of new roads, he said.
