ZAGREB, May 14 (Hina) - The British band Depeche Mode has cancelled its concert in Zagreb, which was due to be held in the Arena hall on 21 May. The concert was called off due because the lead singer David Gahan fell ill before a
concert in Athens and was rushed to a hospital in the Greek capital, the organiser of the Zagreb event, the Lupa promotion agency, reported on Thursday.
ZAGREB, May 14 (Hina) - The British band Depeche Mode has
cancelled its concert in Zagreb, which was due to be held in the Arena hall on
21 May. The concert was called off due because the lead singer David Gahan fell
ill before a concert in Athens and was rushed to a hospital in the Greek
capital, the organiser of the Zagreb event, the Lupa promotion agency, reported
on Thursday. Initially, the band said it would not hold concerts in
Athens and Istanbul.
Later on, it was announced that concerts which should have been held in
Bucharest, Sofia, Belgrade and Zagreb within the band's Tour of the Universe
had been cancelled as well.
Gahan has been diagnosed with gastroenteritis and needs to undergo more
medical exams.
