The three man have been on hunger strike for the fifth consecutive day, Kresimir Pavelic, leader of Homeland Defence war veterans in Pozega County, said on Friday.
The Pozega County Court in March 2009 found Tutic, Poleto and Ivezic guilty of war crimes committed against Serb civilians in Ribnjaci near Marino Selo village in November and December 1991.
The other three defendants in the trial, Damir Kufner, Davor Simic and Pavao Vancas, were released from custody before the announcement of the verdict. They, too, were found guilty of the crimes by the county court.
According to the indictment, 18 civilians died in a make-shift prison in Ribnjaci and six survived torture.
According to the verdict, which was quashed by the Supreme Court this March due to procedural breaches, the defendants were sentenced to a total of 46 and a half years in prison.
The hunger-striking veterans have been in pretrial detention since March 2008.
