Zagreb-Lisbon flights will be available three times a week as of May 20, namely on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays,
On the same day direct flights will be introduced between Zagreb and Milan -- flight will be available on Tuesday, Fridays and Sundays.
Direct Zagreb-Prague flights will commence on May 21 and will fly four times a week -- Tuesday, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays
In addition to regular summer direct flight routes, this year Croatia Airlines is introducing direct flights between Zagreb and Saint Petersburg which should commence as of June 2. Flights will take place twice a week -- Thursdays and Sundays.
CA Management Board President Kresimir Kucko told the news conference this was one of the biggest and most important events in the company's history. Now that it has completed its overhaul, Croatia Airlines is able to expand its destination network, he added. Kucko also said Croatia Airlines would purchase two new planes next year when it would also consider introducing flights to Moscow.
Zagreb Tourism Board director Martina Bienenfeld said Zagreb had been recording excellent tourism results over the past several years, adding that new flights would help promote new trends in the city's tourism and economy.
