The airline will connect the two cities throughout the year four times a week. A one-way ticket costs 575 kuna and a return ticket 1,055 kuna.
"Czech Airlines is expanding its regular and charter flights and is returning to Croatia and other countries in the region. Aside from regular flights between Zagreb and Prague, this year Czech Airlines will begin operating charter flights between Ostrava and Split and between Kosice and Rijeka," said the company's sales and marketing director, Jan Toth.
Zagreb International Airport CEO Jacques Feron said he was pleased with the introduction of Zagreb-Prague flights, voicing hope that the years-long business cooperation between Zagreb Airport and Czech Airlines would continue on the new passenger terminal.
The first Czech Airlines Prague-Zagreb flight took place on 1 July 1930.
