ZAGREB, July 16
(Hina) - The Grand Chamber of the European Court of
Human Rights in Strasbourg on Wednesday unanimously upheld a pilot
judgement in the case of Yugoslav-era foreign currency deposits,
finding Slovenia and the Ljubljanska Banka responsible for
compensation to two applicants, who are citizens of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, for being unable to recover "old" foreign currency
savings deposited with Ljubljanska Banka Sarajevo in Bosnia and
Herzegovina.
