ZAGREB, Sept 25 (Hina) - The Constitutional Court on Thursday abolished provisions of a law on the election of parliamentary deputies, which was amended in February, under which political parties and independent slates have to collect 1,500 signatures to be able to run in elections, persons convicted for abuse of office and powers are not allowed to run in elections, and slates with less than 40% of women candidates are disqualified.
