A jury consisting of some 30 current and former athletes opted for the name HRKI from 200 proposals.
The official website of the Games www.eug2016.com was formally launched today at the presentation of the mascot's name in Zagreb.

(Hina) - A pet hamster, selected as the mascot for
the European University Games to be held in Zagreb and Rijeka on 12-25
July 2016, has got the name "HRKI."
