This is the second medal at a European championship for the 28-year-old who won his first medal, a silver, in Montpellier three years ago, also in the horizontal bar event. He won a bronze at last year's World Championships in Nanning, China.
Despite the latest title, Moznik has still not qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. For that to happen, he has to win a gold medal at the World Championships in Glasgow, to be held on October 23 - November 1.
Britain's Sam Oldham won the silver at the championships in Montpellier and the bronze went to the five-time European horizontal bar champion, Vlasios Maras of Greece.
