(Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign
Minister Vesna Pusic on Friday held talks with the Secretary General
of the Council of Europe, Thorbjorn Jagland, on Croatia's accession to
the European Union during which one of the first steps was Croatia's
admission to the Council of Europe in 1996.
