ZAGREB, March 27
(Hina) - Former Bosnian Serb police officials Mico
Stanisic and Stojan Zupljanin were each sentenced by the International
Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague on
Wednesday to 22 years in prison for the persecution of Bosnian Muslims
and Croats during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the early
1990s. They have the right to appeal.
