"I don't know why Linic came out with something like that. This was in no way discussed at the government or with the other ministers," Pusic said when asked about the HNS' position on the motion.
"The HNS' position is that the state can't treat citizens as underage and feeble-minded. Citizens have the autonomy of decision-making and privacy, which is inviolable. And banks are business entities which estimate the risk on the market," said Pusic.
"There's no conflict between the ministers," she added.
She said the coalition partners could and should talk about anything and highlighted Linic's credit for the swifter construction of border crossings, which is a requirement for Croatia's European Union accession.
