ZAGREB, Feb 1
(Hina) - The government on Friday sent to
parliamentary procedure a final draft of amendments to the Law on
Financing Political Activities and Election Campaigning which
regulates financing from the budget for election campaigning for
political parties and independent candidates who gain at least five
per cent of the vote at elections for the European Parliament. The
legislation further stipulates that each party list and candidate must
open an account for the electoral unit they are running in.
