Uncertainty arising from the turmoil in the Far East continues to influence trading sentiment, and has tended to add to the rather bearish view of prices held by most traders. Downward pressure was also brought to bear by the fresh losses on the New York cotton futures on Friday, with offers for most upland origins being lowered in sympathy. 131107 MET jan 98
