ZAGREB, Dec 29 (HIna) - The former Premier of Pakistan and the
current leader of the opposition Muhamad Nawaz Sharif is travelling
to Sarajevo today where he will hold talks with the representatives
of the B-H administration.
The purpose of his visit is to "personally deliver the warm
feelings of the people of Pakistan to the Bosnian Muslims in the
times of their trouble," said Sharif and added that he wants to
help aliviate the suffering of the people and contribute to the
peace process in B-H.
While Sharif was the Premier Pakistan secured US $ 30 million
worth of humanitarian aid in cash, participated in passing the
resolution of support to the Bosnians at the World Conference on
Human rights in Vienna last year, and organized a special session
of the Islamic Conference in July 1993 in Islamabad to discuss the
Bosnian problem.
