ZAGREB, Dec 22 (Hina) - The agreement on Christmas ceasefire in
Bosnia-Herzegovina is a positive result of the negotiations on B-H
held with EU foreign ministers in Brussels, said President Tudjman
upon his arrival from Brussels.
The negotiations on territorial demarcation between the three
nations in B-H were the hardest talks at the Conference, the
President said. A new idea on condominium of Croats and Moslem over
Neum was brought at the Conference and by that the Moslem would get
access to the sea, said President Tudjman. The Croatian side cannot
give up the sovereignty over this part of the Adriatic coast,
emphasized the President.
The Croatian delegation rejected the idea that the Croatian
Republic in B-H would get only 14% of the territory. The delegation
still requests 17% of the territory, including the Croatian areas
in central Bosnia - Novi Travnik, Vitez, Busovaca, Kiseljak,
Kresevo, said President Tudjman. He added that the work of the
Conference was under the impression of today's Moslem attack
on the convoy for Nova Bila and on the Croatian areas in central
Bosnia.
